Day 1: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the East Coast, known for its wide, sandy shores and vibrant beachfront boardwalk featuring numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. It’s a family-friendly destination with plenty of activities such as amusement parks, water parks, and live music.
Day 2: Charleston, South Carolina
Driving Time: 2 – 2.5 Hours (98 Miles)
Charleston invites visitors to explore its rich heritage, vibrant culinary scene, and well-preserved architecture. Whether you’re strolling along the historic Battery or enjoying fresh seafood at a waterfront restaurant, Charleston offers a captivating blend of adventure and relaxation.
Day 3: Folly Beach, South Carolina
Driving Time: 20 Minutes (11.3 Miles) (40 Minutes round trip if staying in Charleston for the night – we recommend staying in Charleston at the end of Day 2 and Day 3 for a 2-night stay.)
Often referred to as “The Edge of America,” Folly Beach is a laid-back beach community just south of Charleston. It offers a mix of surf spots, dining options, and bars, and is popular for activities like fishing, boating, and surfing. The Folly Beach Pier provides a great spot for strolls and fishing, and the nearby Folly Beach County Park offers pristine shores and good swimming conditions.
Day 4: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
2 Hours (105 Miles) (+45 Minutes if staying in Savannah at the end of Day 4)
Hilton Head is famed for its beautiful natural scenery and quieter atmosphere compared to Myrtle Beach. It offers meticulously maintained beaches, world-class golf courses, and the chance to spot wildlife like dolphins and sea turtles in their natural habitat.
Day 5: Savannah, Georgia
45 Minutes (31.6 Miles) (0 Minutes if staying in Savannah at the end of Day 4)
With enchanting tree-lined streets draped in Spanish moss and a beautifully preserved historic district, Savannah is known for its charm and history. Stroll through picturesque squares, discover the city’s rich past, or indulge in some of the South’s finest culinary delights. Savannah is a city that will warmly welcome you.
Day 6: Tybee Island, Georgia
25 Minutes (17.5 Miles)
Just a short drive from Savannah, Tybee Island is known for its relaxed small-town feel, historic lighthouse, and beautiful stretches of sandy beach. It’s a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying local seafood at the many eateries along the shore.
